One of my mentors told me a long time ago when I was first getting started in this work that, "You do well when you do right". From the moment I heard those words they stuck with me. Did I always do right? Nope! Have I always done well when I do right? Not every time. But I know I've had more wins than losses by having that mindset and applying that principle.
I love working with so many people around the world that have a desire to do right when it comes to impacting communities, schools, and young people. I have learned so much from them over the years!
In this short video I talk about the importance of hiring the right speaker for the right reason to get the right outcomes. Yes, I love when I'm invited to speak in schools, communities, or for organizations. But even if you're not bringing me in, make sure you're bringing in the right person. This quick video will help you do that.
3 Quick Questions to ask a speaker before you hire them:
What will the audience walk away knowing (information)?
What will the audience walk away feeling (emotion)?
What will the audience walk away ready / able to be doing (activation)?
